The Invited Article of the third Akaike Memorial Lecture (with Discussion) on AISM has been published.

The Institute of Statistical Mathematics (ISM) and the Japan Statistical Society (JSS) founded the Akaike Memorial Lecture Award under their joint sponsorship in May, 2016. The third Akaike Memorial Lecture were held as the plenary session in the 2020 Japanese Joint Statistical Meeting, which was held at Toyama International Conference Center on September 9, 2020.

The lecturer was the third awardee, Dr. John Brian Copas, Emeritus Professor at the University of Warwick and  Honorary Professor at University College London, UK.

The invited article of the third Memorial Lecture (with Discussion) was published on vol.74, No.4 of the Annals of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics (AISM) in August, 2022.
