A Memorandum of Agreement was signed with National University of Laos

Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed with National University of Laos(NUOL) on March 15.2017. Vice President Dr.Houngphet Chanthavong and Head of Research Division Faculty of Forestry Dr. Sithong Thongmanivong visited Institute of Statistical Mathematics(ISM) . T.Higuchi, Director-General and Professor Yoshimoto took part in the signing ceremony.

By this MoA, ISM and NUOL agreed to promote joint research projects, to accept research staff from each other, and to maintain continuous and collaborative contact etc. in the field of forest inventory and planning, forest statistics, forest economics, forest and ecological informatics.
