Requirements for Graduation

5-year doctoral program

  • Enrollment in the department for five years or more
    (this requirement might be handled flexibly for students who demonstrate outstanding research performance)
  • At least 42 credits earned including required credits
    (it is recommended that these include at least 8 credits from Basic Courses)
  • Having undergone the necessary research supervision by a supervisor
  • Successful examination of a doctoral thesis and successful completion of an examination

3-year doctoral program

  • Enrollment in the department for three years or more
    (this requirement might be handled flexibly for students who demonstrate outstanding research performance)
  • At least 16 credits earned
  • Having undergone the necessary research supervision by a supervisor
  • Successful examination of a doctoral thesis and successful completion of an examination
