Call for Papers(Poster Session) -- Abstract Submission Guidline:
The symposium will offer a poster session on the above-mentioned topics. Both theoretical research and applications papers are solicited. If you are interested in giving a poster presentation, please submit your abstract by December 10, 1999 by using the following submission form.

-- Manuscript Submission Guidline:
The authors are required to prepare a manuscript by December 31, 1999. The paper should not exceed 10 (2 for poster session) single-spaced pages of text using 12 or 11 point size type on 8.5 x 11 inch (letter (A4) size) pages.
YOUR PAPER MUST BE CAMERA READY.
To submit, send either two copies of the manuscript, in English, or the PostScript file to the workshop local organizing chairman:

Electronic submission is highly preferred. Papers must be received by December 31, 1999. Do not send copies by fax or telecopier.

The paper should consist of a cover page with title, authors' names, postal and e-mail addresses, an approximately 200 word summary, up to 5 keywords.

-- Special Issue in AISM:
We are planning to have a special issue in Annals of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics (AISM:
http://www.ism.ac.jp/~nagasima/editsec/aism-e.html).
Original papers based mainly on the papers submitted for the symposium will be considered for publication. ALL authors are encouraged to prepare the manuscript for the symposium in aiming at submitting your paper to the special issue in the AISM.

Publication Proceedings will be published by the Institute of Statistical Mathematics.


Registration -- Registration Fee:
Registration fee includes a copy of proceedings, a banquet on Jan. 8, 2000, and CD including various softwares and digital textbooks developed at ISM and others.

The registration must be received by January 7, 2000. After this date, individuals must register on-site.

Bunquet Place: The conference banquet will be held at Tokyo Kaikan, Gold room on February 8, 2000 (19:00-21:00).
