研究目的と成果（経過）の概要

平成23年1１月10日から12日に統計数理研究所で研究集会を開催した。前身を含めて20回目となる今年は、本講演１７件に加え、ショートコミュニケーション3件と例年以上に数多くの講演がなされ、参加者は３７名であった。詳細は下記サイトにあるプログラムを参照されたい。
　無限分解可能分布とは任意の数の独立な確率変数の和の分布として表すことの出来る分布であり、正規分布、ポアソン分布、安定分布を含む最も基本的で重要といえる確率分布の族である。有限次元分布が無限分解可能な確率過程が無限分解可能過程であり、古くから純粋数学としての確率論の研究対象であったが、近年は数理ファイナンスなど、これを基礎とした応用、或いは様々な方向へと研究が広がりを見せている。この研究状況下で、今回、九州大学マス・フォア・インダストリ研究所の増田弘毅准教授の「Statistical inference fro jump processes」と題する招待講演が行われた。
この他の今年度の発表は，様々な分布族や分布の性質の研究，飛躍型確率微分方程式，神経回路モデル，確率論的手法を使ったゼータ関数の研究，自由確率論，極値理論に関係する話題など無限分解可能性に結びついた実に様々な研究成果が発表され，充実した共同研究集会となった．
　詳細に関しては報告集として共同研究集会の講演内容を中心に共同研究レポートを作成したのでそれをご覧いただきたい。このレポートは主要大学等の図書室に寄贈しており入手可能であろう。
