Dear Dr. Ogata

Congratulations! As the Publisher at Elsevier responsible for Tectonophysics, I am delighted to advise that your article:

Y. Ogata
Space-time ETAS models and an improved extension
Tectonophysics, Volume 413, Issue 1-2 (2006), Pages 13-23

is one of the "Top-50 most cited articles" published in Tectonophysics 2005-2010.

To celebrate this, we plan to host a reception for our top cited authors at the forthcoming 2010 AGU Fall Meeting, San Francisco. The reception will take place on Thursday 16 December, from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm. This is intended as an informal gathering where you will have the opportunity to meet and share ideas with other Authors, some of the Editors of the journals and the publishers from Elsevier. We will also use this opportunity to present authors with a certificate in celebration of their paper's achievement.

As we will need to know who is able to attend and ensure that everyone is catered for, we would be very grateful if you could click here and reply before Thursday 2nd December to let us know if you can join us. If you can attend, further details about the venue will follow closer to the date - I should mention, we are not able to offer travel expenses, but hope a good number of the authors will be in San Francisco for the fall meeting and therefore may be able to attend the reception.

Note: if you are unable to make the reception engagement, your certificate will be posted to you at the following address:

The Institute of Statistical Mathematics
Minami-Azabu 4-6-7
Minato-Ku
Tokyo 106-8569
Japan

Please notify us by replying here as soon as possible, if this address has changed or is incomplete.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for submitting your paper to Tectonophysics, I hope the publishing experience was to your satisfaction and that you will consider submitting further manuscripts to the journal in the future.

Yours sincerely,

Katherine Eve
